Hello, It's Me
Here I am. An actual photo that includes my head. I bet you all were doubtful that I even had a head, with all those neck-down shots I take. I skipped the fancy camera and annoying tripod, and settled for the grainy version of Photobooth. This grand gesture of revealing my full-self is in honor of my first "About Me" page.
Sometimes I stumble upon a blog and want to know more about the person writing it. I find that if I first learn a bit about the author, I feel more connected to the writing, as well as the person writing it. So I think you'll find more than you ever need to know about our little family on my new About Me page. And, of course, I'm always willing to answer more questions. I get a lot of questions about photography, so I included a bit about my camera and lenses.
Find anything missing or have a particular question that wasn't covered? Let me know. My e-mail link is right below the new About Me link in the left hand menu. I'm always happy to answer questions!

You are lovely Erin! You could also pass as Rubys Mum! You guys have the same hair color! Thanks for putting "yourself" out there! ;-)

Hi Erin! I enjoyed reading all about you and your sweet family on the "about me" page.
I especially liked what you said about blogging, I have been thinking about starting one (aside from the personal one I have for out-of-state family). You are very inspiring!
I'm looking foward to meeting you friday! =)

Thank you for the about me page. I love reading your blog. I feel the same way about blogging. My blog is very new, but you inspire me to make it so much better!
Do you have any recommendations on where to buy good quality linen?

Well it's nice to meet you...more ;) I don't think I've ever seen a full photo of you. You're a lovely person- inside and out. Have a great day.

I've really enjoyed reading your blog in the last few months and very much agree with your philosophy on writing. Since starting our blog, I have begun to look more forward to my days with our daughter and really appreciate the sweet moments throughout the day. Thanks for the lovely site!

how neat to see your face! i've been a reader of your blog for many months now and LOVE the clothes you create. you give me hope that one day i'll be a better seamstress! i'm jealous of your timberframe house, that is a dream of my husband and i...and he too is an avid woodworker but w/o a shop at the moment and dying to get his hands on some tools. thanks for the lovely information!

My first time here. Your words, your photographs, your sewing, and your children -- all lovely. :)

I enjoyed reading your about page. It's funny that you mentioned that blogging has taught you to notice more of life's "little things" because I was just saying that to some friends who ask why I blog! I have been taking pictures of details as well as people/places lately, though my pictures aren't as good as yours! For example-taking a picture of our daughter's closet with her little shoes all in a row.

Nice to meet you Erin, I always imagined you would be dark haired--not sure why. It must be hard with Elisabeths intolerances, my mam was diagnosed coeliac a few years ago and I can understand how this is a life changing thing.
Your "about me" page is very refreshing.

hi, erin! i love your new 'about me' page! what a lovely little family you have. i echo your same thoughts about blogs and about feeling more 'connected' to the person writing when i know a little about them. you've inspired me to do the same on my own blog. now i better get to work getting a good picture of myself with my new lens! :)

Erin,
I am so happy to meet you. I was just looking at your blog the other day, which I do often. But this time, I was looking for your about me section and was disappointed that I could not find out more about you.
I enjoy your site and your sensibilities.
Thanks for sharing more about you, your environment, values and lovely family.

I'm only slightly coveting your solar house on 8 acres... But that's just because we're house hunting right now. :) It's great to "meet" you more, as someone who's read your blog for a few months! Blessings on your family and your life up there!
