With warmer weather slipping in here and there, spending time outdoors seems like such a luxury after a very snowy winter. It's so nice to wake up to birds singing and sun shining in the window. With the birds returning, it's nice to have a treat for them. I remember making these simple bird feeders when I was a kid.
Twenty minutes outside in the sun, a few pine cones, string, peanut butter, and birdseed and you have a treat for the birds!
And the verdict? The birds really love them. Almost as much as we love watching the birds devour them from our window!
