We spent two days at the Common Ground Fair this weekend, and boy did we have fun! The animals, the handmade goodies, the food, the farmer's market...it was all so amazing. The little one particularly enjoyed the horse carriage rides, cardboard hill, and the hay jump. She and Sasa spent an hour jumping into the hay. Sasa actually beat the record for the farthest jump after some kid triple dog dared him. It was quite a sight! I took so many pictures over the course of two days that I had hundreds to choose from!
We had such a great time and I can't think of a better way to welcome autumn. We managed to camp out with some friends on Friday night and woke up to ice on our sleeping bags, but we were all toasty warm inside them, thank goodness! I can hardly wait for next year!! A big thanks to Kat for being such a great host and fair buddy!
For now I'm battling yet another flu and am stuck inside for the next couple of days. I've been doing lots of crafting while laying on the couch. Does anyone have ideas for easy hand crafts? (Sewing, felting, etc.) I'd love any ideas!!
