Oh, spring weather in Maine. Seriously....a day predicted at nearly 70 degrees turned out to include warm sun, rain, hail, snow, super strong wind, and everything else you could possibly imagine. We took walks whenever the sun came out, but the rest of the day was spent relaxing inside. At one point I got into a dusting frenzy, trying to clean off the dust from the construction that I swore I wouldn't touch until the project was finally completed. But I couldn't stand it any longer. I dusted while the little one played with her beeswax collection. I turned around to find this peaceful scene :: the little one building chairs for her beeswax bunny, cat, and bear. So cute.
The kitchen had a little setback. I was so hoping to reveal it to you next week, but the floor guy seems to be on an island at the moment and will be there for another 10 days. Oy. So I'll have to leave you all on the edge of your seats. Sorry! I did move our table and chairs in today, but everything else will have to wait until the end. I couldn't resist snapping the above photos though. The light is just so super gorgeous in there...
