My, oh my. We're due for a super storm tomorrow (hurricane Earl) and I decided to go out to the gardens to see what needed picking. Well, I found tons. And tons and tons. It was so much fun. The little one and I carried our big wooden bowl around and our basket to fill with tomatoes, delicata squash, cucumbers, and zucchini. It was like a treasure hunt!
Since the start of our garden, we've put in four more beds. They are growing beets, Asian greens, chard, kale, carrots, and some winter lettuce. Our garden is literally overflowing and it's so wonderful to see! Tomorrow we'll spend the day pickling and canning tomato sauce for the winter!
And we followed up our morning of gardening with wash day. So fun!
What did you do today?!
