Wait! That's not me! No... that is just my super handsome man sporting his new do. I love this picture of him and his child-like grin. And I love his do. I love that he lets me style his do every morning. Sasa, you are one handsome styled dude. I love you. Smooch!
We were invited to a wedding this past weekend up the coast in a beeeeeautiful part of the state. And not just any wedding, but the wedding of Rhea and Oliver! I've known Rhea for almost four years and it was such a pleasure photographing her wedding and being a guest! We got some awesome shots (I HIGHLY recommend any bride and groom take two hours before the ceremony to do some creative shots because it is SO worth it!), had a marvelous dinner, some super fun conversation (Glee-A-Thon anyone?! seriously guys...I'm doing it!), and then trekked through the streets of a sleepy little town to find the only open bar, which had the words "thirsty" and "whale" in its name. Sounds pretty awesome, right?
Then Sasa and I woke up early the next morning (much to my moans and pleads) after a sleepless night in our rented cabin (thank you, wild animal, who decided to gnaw on the inside of our wall all night) to drive all the way back down the coast to our home, where I spent all of five minutes shoveling food in my mouth before continuing on to a shoot in the big city (for the coolest couple ever...more on that tomorrow!), where the three of us proceeded to spend two hours out in the rain chasing down lobster people and trying to find some pretty sweet backdrops. How was that for the longest sentence that this blog has ever seen?!! But it was awesome. I would do it all again in a hearbeat. I am, however, slowly recovering from such an instensly fun filled weekend. Sleep sounds so appealing right now, but the 5,000 photos I have from various shoots are still haunting me.
