it's almost the end of august. how is that even possible?
the beach days are slowly coming to an end. the light is changing noticeably each evening. the days are turning drier and cooler. it seems like summer just started and without our traditional ways of marking the summer (berry picking, preserving, gardening, etc.) it seems like we never really had it at all.
but we've been busy. doing new and exciting things this summer. the little one went off to her first overnight with my mom to a camp in western maine. she adored it! what a big milestone.
i've been working hard on wedding stuff, personal portfolio work, painting, gearing up for another e-course, and of course being a mama. and the biggest news of all is i'm trying to buy a house. all on my own, which feels really great. so there's a lot of things happening right now, and i certainly don't want to neglect this space here...
so here are some shots from our days. today is rainy and dark. mark is making me an omelette right now while i sip my tea and munch on bacon. i've got a long day of work ahead and a couple of houses to visit.
