everything is different in this wee space. our rhythm is different; both daily and seasonally.
we have made the best of the lack of storage and really no room to do that much of anything. and we've enjoyed it, as challenging as it might be.
but i am so looking forward to our bigger space next month. and eventually gardens. and all our rhythms and routines back to some semblance of what once was.
celebrating seasons is something i really miss. we've done what we could, but most of my traditions with the little one have been scaled back.
i was reminded of how excited i am for what's to come when we made applesauce the other day. i only could make what we could eat that night, because i have no place to store the rest. we gave some to neighbors and had the rest for dessert.
but i found myself so excited to really dive into creating again, and establishing new traditions and bringing back old ones. feeling unsettled is exciting and pushes you in new directions, but can also leave you just grasping for anything that string your days together to create a cohesive life.
we're ready. so very ready for what's next.
what are your fall traditions?
xoxo
