a hodge podge of photos from our weekend.
there were many, many trips back and forth to town. picking up this, moving that, forgetting this, remembering that.
there were meals to be cooked and enjoyed. the table seems to be our favorite spot.
there were books unpacked and hours of reading by someone who has just learned how to put letters together to form words.
there was coffee in bed and then more at breakfast.
the garden got its first pruning for the winter ahead while a giggly little butterfly kept us company.
violins were practiced.
kitties finally started venturing downstairs.
and we got really creative with all of the empty boxes lying around.
