My best friend Daria of Luksin Designs is offering a fabulous giveaway! Daria has been designing clothes since she was a little girl. It all started with a pair of leggings that were black on one side and red and white striped on the other, when she was just 8. And she's still at it.
Luksin Designs features original designs, using organic cotton for the most part, along with a few other earth friendly fabrics like tencel, and wool for winter. Her pieces that are easy to wear, neutral, and subtly detailed either with seaming, or prints that she hand draws.
Daria works hard to find ethical, low impact, and fair trade materials. Everything is made either in her studio on the coast of maine, or by another amazing seamstress about an hour away in Portland, Maine. Her work is a balance of ethics and aesthetics.
