I've been doing a lot of work on my photography website and I'm happy to announce it's finished! So please wander over and take a look. Well, I'm pretty sure you've all noticed my love of Priscilla Ahn. In fact, her lyrics have inspired many of my self-portraits. I was contacted by her marketing director (or his wife, anyway...Hi Key!) and asked if I'd like to do a giveaway on my blog. Who can pass up a giveaway?! So he sent me three full length Priscilla cd's and four with a shorter selection.
Priscilla's voice is so dreamy and lovely, not to mention her amazing lyrics that seem to say so much of what is in my heart. If you go to her website, linked above, you can hear some of her music.

I apologize if you're tired of seeing pictures of me! So much of my creative energy is going into my self-portraits these days. I find it so much fun and fulfilling. And I look at them and it's like I don't even realize that it's me in the photograph! The one above was another shot I took in the woods inside the cattle run on our property, while wearing my old wedding dress. I love the moss on the stump I was crouching on.
And I am so behind on replying to all your wonderful comments. But I hope to catch up this weekend while the little one spends some time with her Baba. I just wanted to thank you for being so amazing. I so enjoy reading what you all think about the things I write. Expect to hear from me soon!

I love this song. Love it. It's my new fav. I want it played at my funeral (which won't be for many, many, many years...).

I was thinking back to my darkroom days and remembered doing double exposures, so I tried to merge two pictures digitally and it worked! I'm really pleased with the result. And the photography post to answer your questions is coming soon!

For Colleen, winner of the apron, who wanted to see a close up of my eyes. I'm usually not a fan of the black and white/color mix, but I decided to keep the natural color of my eyes to keep it more interesting. It seems that our weekly trips to the beach have resulted in a bit more freckles on my nose!
