a big thanks to joel (a fabulous photographer in portland!) for taking this photograph of the three of us. we ventured down to the big city and bundled up against the cold. we are so ready for spring! the little one dressed herself in some fabulous tops but was too cold to reveal them, and the only way we could get her to be in the picture was if she was jumping. but i love it!

here's another installment of wearing and wanting! we're off to do our weekend errands in town (big grocery shop, laundry, espresso, and a walk around town). so we were comfy and dressed warm for the somewhat mild winter day. i think it's an extra fun challenge to dissect our outfits, because most of what we own we've had for so long. or it's made by friends. or we bought at a second-hand shop!

this weekend after the storm we were just itching to get out! so we went to some flea markets looking for unknown art, then ventured further south for some more fun. the little one had on the best outfit i think (although she didn't want me to take her picture) but she kindly took some photos of us for this post!

wearing and wanting

well, it's back by popular demand: what i'm wearing. i heard all your pleas to kindly bring back the "wardrobe posts" i used to do. so here they are.

but i couldn't do them alone. oh no...one thing people know about mark and i is that we love clothes. we often come downstairs to find we are wearing almost the exact same thing (and one of us has to change). we are always on the hunt for clothes that are unique and different, but simple and fit our aesthetic. it's hard. we stick to basics most of the time. and on a tight budget, we try to find things that last, but also are simple enough to provide inspiration for a variety of different outfits.
