I had the pleasure of being a guest and a photographer at the fabulous Rhea and Ollie's wedding. You may know of Rhea from here, where she runs a pretty skookum fabric store. She's one crafty lady and her wedding just rocked! We met two hours prior to the ceremony on the top of Cadillac Mountain. I mean, could there be a more gorgeous place to take photos of a bride and groom?!
They were a super sweet couple, and with one bridesmaid and one groomsmen, the photo possibilities were endless! We had so much fun. After the mountain, we headed down closer to the ceremony and reception site to an old stone carriage house. Rhea even opened the gate for a horse drawn carriage (after I moved my car that was parked right in their way!) and the woods were just amazingly gorgeous.
Rhea had many special touches to her wedding including fabric flowers, handmade quilts (with fabric from her shop!) lining the benches of the ceremony site for guests to cozy up in, homemade chive blossom vinegar, and a handmade quilt top for people to sign as a guestbook! So sweet!
Reception and Ceremony Site:: lawn of the Jordan Pond House, in Acadia
Catered by the Jordan Pond House
Dress :: Anthropologie
Boots :: Frye
Enjoy the preview!!
(probably my favorite photo of the day. a complete accident. totally overexposed. but i love it.)

Oh Erin!
I'm left feeling speechless after looking at these stunning photos. You've managed to capture such sweet, tender and quiet moments...I'm in love with these photos. And the details- the cakes, the flowers, the dress and boots-oh I love them all!
Also the wedding seems to have been so personal- I love that the groom is wearing his baseball hat.
Well done!

Oh My ! Erin your pictures are so beautiful ! There are so "magnifiques" that we can even feel the chilly wind... I wish we were living in the United-States, I will ask for sure for a family shot !

Beautiful work, Erin! I especially love the pics from the carriage house down, in particular the close up details of Rhea with the flower in her hair and the few other details that follow. The horse drawn carriage picture is totally timeless - one would never know it was just photographed a few days ago. And the beautiful quilts, the flowers, cake - oh my - I just love details!!

I love the pictures of the 4 of them in the trees (both the B&W and color shots)...they look like a bluegrass band posing for a CD cover! Also love the boots in the leaves shot.
